WANotifier and SaleMag both connect your number to Meta's official WhatsApp API. WANotifier is a focused WhatsApp marketing tool, run by a US company with a team in India, with deep WordPress roots. SaleMag is a chat-commerce platform from Dhaka that covers several messaging channels and adds an AI agent for selling.

What is the main difference between SaleMag and WANotifier?

WANotifier does one channel, WhatsApp, and does it with a lot of Meta features: Flows, carousel and limited-time-offer templates, Click-to-WhatsApp ad tracking and coexistence. SaleMag covers every chat channel a Bangladeshi shop uses, and puts an AI chatbot on top that answers and takes orders.

Does WANotifier have an AI chatbot?

WANotifier has a no-code chatbot builder with triggers, buttons, lists, Flows, conditions, delays and API calls. It is not on the Essentials plan. Its documented chatbot steps have no AI or LLM reply step. The help center shows another route: an external AI agent, such as one built in n8n, calling WANotifier as a tool.

SaleMag's AI chatbot is built in. It runs on your own OpenAI, Claude or Gemini key, learns from your products, FAQs, files and web pages, and replies in the customer's language. A customer who writes "eta ki original? dam koto?" gets a Banglish answer with the right price. When the AI is unsure, it hands the chat to your team.

Which is better for cash-on-delivery orders?

WANotifier's WooCommerce plugin sends WhatsApp notifications for new orders, COD orders and order status changes, and reminds shoppers about abandoned carts. Customers can also order from a WhatsApp product catalog.

SaleMag takes the order in the chat itself, with or without a website. Its AI order taking checks your catalog for price, stock and options, builds the cart, and sends a WhatsApp order form where the customer picks Inside or Outside Dhaka and sees the delivery fee and total. The server works out the total, so the AI never quotes a wrong price. For store orders, SaleMag also sends abandoned cart reminders for Shopify and BigCommerce.

Neither tool books couriers. SaleMag has no Pathao, Steadfast, RedX, bKash or Nagad connection.

• Many no-code connectors: Zapier, Make, Pabbly, n8n and Integrately.

Where is SaleMag the better choice?

SaleMag is the better choice if you need any of these:

• More than WhatsApp: Messenger, Instagram DMs, Telegram and WeChat in one shared inbox.
• A built-in AI chatbot that replies in Bangla and Banglish.
• COD orders in the chat, with delivery-area fees.
• Bulk SMS through SMSBD, REVE SMS, BulkSMS BD, sms.net.bd or MimSMS.
• Email campaigns to the same contact list.
• A native Shopify integration, with no custom webhooks.

How does pricing compare?

WANotifier prices its three plans, Essentials, Advanced and Premium, by the number of opted-in contacts, from 1,000 up to 1 million. Yearly billing saves 20%. Each phone number needs its own plan. Higher plans unlock the chatbot builder, more agents, more campaigns and the messaging API. WANotifier's pricing page shows its current prices for your location.

WANotifier advertises "0% markup on WhatsApp API charges": Meta bills message fees directly. Its refund policy says subscription fees are non-refundable, with a 48-hour exception for accidental payments. Its terms fall under Delaware law in the USA.

How do I switch from WANotifier to SaleMag?

1. Export your contacts from WANotifier as CSV.
2. Create a SaleMag account and connect your WhatsApp number through Meta's signup screens.
3. Import the CSV, keeping each contact's WhatsApp opt-in.
4. Connect your Facebook Page, Instagram account and store.
5. Add your products and FAQs to the AI chatbot, then test it on real Bangla and Banglish messages.
